Pond organisms

We are creating organisms that live around a pond. When the mod-roc has dried we will paint them and create some information cards so we can teach the rest of the class about our organisms.

Habitat Study

We are investigating habitats and organisms in science. This week we went onto Al Hamra compound and left no stone un-turned, (although we were very careful to replace the stones and the organisms exactly where we found them!) in our search. There were many micro habitats and we found lots of different creatures hiding away.

Who lives in a house like this?

mmmm, is it lunch time yet?

Spellings and vocabulary for this week

How many of 4DR can remember their Kung Fu punctuation? We will be starting our grading next week!

Know your place value....

We had great fun ordering numbers and challenging other groups to beat our time.

Moral Dilemmas

In english lessons we are discussing moral dilemmas. We made a conscience alley. This is a useful technique for exploring any kind of dilemma faced by a character, providing an opportunity to analyse a decisive moment in greater detail. The class forms two lines facing each other. One person takes the role of the protagonist and walks between the lines as each member of the group speaks their advice.
Plenty of advice and opinions have been administered !
